I'm really sorry devs, but you messed up.Welcome to the Wiki about Pascal’s Wager - a dark fantasy style action role-playing game in which you can take on the roles of five diverse characters who embark on an adventure in a world shrouded in the dark mist looking for the truth behind the light. Now, I won't remember the fun I had along the journey - I'll just remember the bafflingly awful final part. Again, this could've been great, but the quality control really fell apart at the end of the game.

2) poor graphics, but this is an android port, so it's fine. and the voice actors constantly pronounce the same words differently. The -2 comes from the above reasons, not the ones below. Other things to note, but are minor issues. you cannot level up or enhance charms enough to allow your damage to keep up with the enemies' increased damage. why does this not make sense? because even if you don't bring certain characters in your party, they always appear in cutscenes anyway! this is a severe blunder by the devs. 4) for no good reason, YOU CANNOT SWAP OUT TERRENCE. whoever designed this.and the person who approved this.you guys need to reevaluate what you think is good game design. it goes on for wayyyy too many phases and it drags on when it summons phantoms of your companions.

it casts a one-hit kill move (aren't we past cheap moves like this, devs?). it keeps randomly staggering and not staggering sometimes leading to extreme and unfun randomness. it keeps spawning enemies deliberately OUTSIDE OF YOUR FIELD OF VIEW. it keeps casting spells that make you back away for way, way too long doing nothing and ruining the pace. Suddenly, you're taking it away? 3) finally, pseudo boss gauntlet, and horrendously awful final boss. again, what the? this whole game I've had the CHOICE to manage my sanity levels. 2) they wrote a story where it was NECESSARY TO PUT YOU AT MAX INSANITY. you didn't have to design it this way, devs! you chose to! and your game is worse now because of it. just, why? why are you suddenly deciding to remove core game mechanics in the final part? there are ways to raise the tension and drama of the story WITHOUT REMOVING CORE GAME MECHANICS. The final boss and area of this almost-great game is AWFUL for the following reasons: 1) they wrote a story where it was necessary to SUDDENLY MAKE YOUR COMPANIONS UNPLAYABLE. I've beaten them, and I know what makes them fun. Beat SEKIRO twice, with no charm and with demon bell. And just so you know, I'm a huge dark souls nerd.

I was gonna give it an 8/10, but-2 points because of how all the fun and good vibes of the rest of the game are absolutely destroyed and decimated by the final area and boss. I really wanted to give this a pretty high score, but the final area and final boss are full of bafflingly horrible and atrocious game design I really wanted to give this a pretty high score, but the final area and final boss are full of bafflingly horrible and atrocious game design decisions.
